About Us

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter is dedicated to advancing and supporting professionals in the construction industry through education, networking, leadership development, and community involvement.

Our chapter brings together a diverse group of professionals, including contractors, engineers, architects, project managers, consultants, suppliers, developers, inspectors, municipal professionals, and other industry leaders. While founded to support women in construction, NAWIC welcomes all professionals who are committed to fostering growth, opportunity, and excellence within the industry. Our membership includes both women and men who support the advancement of the construction industry and the development of future leaders.

Through monthly membership meetings, educational programs, jobsite tours, community service projects, scholarship initiatives, and leadership opportunities, we provide members with valuable resources to expand their knowledge, strengthen professional relationships, and advance their careers.

As part of a nationwide organization with more than 65 years of history, NAWIC empowers members through local engagement while providing access to regional and national networking, professional development, leadership training, and industry connections.
