The Drone Show Extravaganza returns Nov. 11 (Veterans Day)
with over 100 drones per show (300 total) lighting up the night sky with, according to the city, “awe-inspiring artistic formations that celebrate the holiday spirit and showcase our unique South Florida nautical flair.”
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a DJ and live concert by The Vam Band, a Funk tribute dance band that performs Pop, Top 40, R&B, and Soul.

Traffic and parking The Atlantic Boulevard bridge will be locked in the down position from 9 to 11 p.m. The Northeast 14 Street bridge will be locked in the down position from 9 to 11 p.m. Traffic on Atlantic Boulevard, starting at Northeast 26 Avenue (Harbor Drive) will be shut down at 8:45 p.m. and reopen at 9:45 p.m. or when traffic is clear. Other roads in the beach area may be periodically closed to adjust for traffic congestion. City officials advise attendees to arrive two hours before the event is scheduled to start. Valet parking will not be available. Parking will be available at the pier garage for $20, and free shuttles will transport attendees to and from Citi Centre, 1955 N. Federal Hwy., and Community Park, 820 NE 18 Ave. Circuit shuttles will also operate between Harbor Drive and the pier.
