DESCRIPTION:HOLIDAY BOAT PARADE\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 57th Annual Greater Pompano Beach & Lighthouse Point Holiday Boat Parade\, presented by Joey Accardi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram\, will be held on Friday\, December 13th at 7 pm.  The parade starts at Lake Santa Barbara and runs north to Hillsboro Blvd. in Deerfield Beach.\n\nBoth the Atlantic Blvd and 14th St. Causeway bridges will be in the upright position beginning at 6:15 pm and will remain up and impassable for car traffic until the conclusion of the parade\, please plan accordingly.\n\nThe official viewing party will be held at Taha Marine which is being presented by\, Pompano Magazine.  Tickets are 15.00 and can be purchased through the Chamber of Commerce.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the party.  Come out and enjoy the parade while admiring the beautiful Atlantic Blvd. Bridge\, designed by Dennis Friel in the background.\n\nA limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at Taha Marine. Dennis Friel did an amazing job on the design.  Shirts are 100% polyester performance shirts.\n\nThis year's Grand Marshal is Special Olympics Florida   Broward County\, Special Olympics Athlete\, Cameron Clark will be performing the National Anthem from Taha Marine\, to kick off the parade.\n\nThe City of Pompano Beach has set up an additional viewing area at Exchange Park. Grandstands will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.  There is no charge for this viewing area.  Residents can also go to any of the public parks on the Inter-Coastal Waterway to view the parade:\n\n\n\nScott A Winters Park on Riverside Dr.\n\nExchange Club Park\n\nSullivan Park\n\n14th St Boat Ramp (there will be a food truck there)\n\nWaters Edge Park\n\n\n\nThe Pompano Beach Margate Lighthouse Point Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring this event to the community.
